We are looking for a Welder/Fabricator and General Workshop Assistant for our well established client on the North side of Lincoln.
Own Transport: Due to the site’s location, reliable personal transport is necessary.
Key responsibilities include performing welding and fabricating tasks to produce and repair metal structures and components, operating CNC machinery with precision to meet production specifications, and carrying out laser cutting and shot blasting processes to ensure high-quality finishes. The role also involves undertaking various general duties to support the smooth running of the workshop, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and driving company vehicles as required to transport materials, equipment, or finished products between sites.
This is a full-time, genuine temporary to permanent contract.
This role is ideal for beginners looking to start their career in engineering; while full training will be provided, candidates should have some form of engineering background or experience, such as studies at college or university.
Working hours: Monday to Friday
£12.75 – £13.50 per hour

Requirements:
Driving Licence: Applicants must be 20 or older and hold a full UK driving licence (required for insurance purposes).
Own Transport: Due to the site’s location, reliable personal transport is necessary.
Personal Qualities: We’re seeking someone dependable, motivated, and enthusiastic about engineering, with a strong work ethic and commitment to developing within the role.
Experience: Previous welding or fabrication experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Flexibility: Must be keen to learn, adaptable, and ready to take on different duties as needed.
