Warehouse Operative/Counterbalance FLT Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy transport and logistics operation based just outside of Long Bennington.
IMMEDIATE START – The working hours are Monday to Friday with start times between 06:00 and 07:00 and variable finish times but may be as late as 18:00, depending on operational requirements.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day movement of goods, assisting with the loading, unloading and handling of palletised freight to ensure deliveries and collections run smoothly and efficiently.
The role is paid at £13.50 per hour with the role possibly moving from temporary to permanent.
You must have an in date Counter Balance FLT licence as well as your own transport to site is essential. 

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced working environment, requiring a reliable individual who can work safely, efficiently and as part of a wider warehouse and transport team.

Your responsibilities will include, operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move and position palletised goods safely around the site. Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring goods are handled securely and efficiently. Supporting the movement and organisation of freight within the warehouse and yard. You will also be checking goods and pallets for visible damage and reporting any discrepancies. Picking and packing orders, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment as well as assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
