Temporary Nursery Nurse

We are recruiting a Nursery Nurse to join our client in Grantham on a Temporary basis until around the start of September.
Our client runs a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Nursery and have a team of hard-working staff looking for some Temporary support.
 
Day-to-day as a Nursery Nurse you will be:
– Providing a high-quality and supportive level of care for nursery participants
– Planning and supporting engaging and interesting activities throughout the day to support learning and development
– Observing and recording progress
– Promoting a safe, inclusive and friendly environment with positive behaviour
– Following Nursery safeguarding, Health & Safety and other policies during your work
– Keeping correct records as necessary
– Working collaboratively with your colleagues and seniors
– Carrying out other general Nursery duties within the scope of the role
 
We are looking for:

– Experience within a Nursery / Early Years setting

– An approachable and supportive nature
 
You will require a Level 3 ideally or, at a minimum, Level 2 approved qualification in Childcare / Early Years for this role.
You’d also require an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and ideally if you have had recent First Aid training that would be a bonus.
 
Working hours are 4 or 5 days per week (your choice) across Monday to Friday 7:30am-6:00pm with 30 minutes’ lunch break.
Rate of pay £13.00 – £14.00 per hour depending on experience.
