Our client of a local independent accountancy firm are seeking a tax/accounts administrator to join their professional team on a full-time permanent basis.
About the role:-
– You’ll be leading role in the preparation of personal tax returns for their client for review.
– Calculating and submitting or assisting to submit Capital Gains Tax Returns.
– Bookkeeping services for clients using Sage and .
– Preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients, along with preparation of accounts and corporation tax returns for clients where bookkeeping services are provided.
– Acting as company secretarial services for clients within general office administration, and supporting of other members when required.
About the Candidate:-
– Ideally 1-2 years experience within personal tax returns but not essential.
– An organised and incredibly accurate individual
– AAT qualified or currently studying their AAT’s.
– Confident with multiple communication.
– Willing to work as a team and to competent with using their own initiative.
This role would suit an accounting trainee wishing to have a career on personal tax returns. During the personal tax returns period, this is the prime focus of the role, with bookkeeping/accounts preparation out of the tax return “season”. There is scope for potential training to qualify in accountancy or taxation.
Hours of work shall be 37.5 a week, Monday to Friday. With a remuneration ranging between £18,000 – £22,000 (DOE).
