We’re recruiting a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy and expanding Construction team in our Stamford office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys technically challenging work and wants exposure to a wide range of property, construction and engineering disputes.
The Role
You’ll be advising a diverse client base on disputes involving employers, contractors and consultants, working across both commercial and residential developments. The work is varied, technical and rewarding, offering hands-on experience in:
Adjudication, mediation and litigation
County Court and High Court proceedings, including TCC matters
Drafting and advising on building contracts and construction documentation
Managing disputes from early advice through to resolution
This is a role where no two matters are the same, and your expertise will truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
Acting for clients in property, construction and engineering disputes and providing an ongoing, high-quality service
Drafting pre-action protocol correspondence
Reviewing pleadings, witness statements, expert reports and settlement agreements
Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders throughout the dispute process
Keeping up to date with changes in law and practice within the construction sector
About You
A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Dispute Resolution
Ideally experienced in property and/or construction law
Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
Comfortable managing a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable in Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
Holds a full driving licence with access to a car
