The Role
 
As a Shop / Security Fitter, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing shop fittings, doors, and security-related systems across a range of sites nationwide.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
–          Installing and maintaining shop fittings, doors, and associated hardware
–          Carrying out repairs and modifications using hand and power tools
–          Reading and interpreting technical drawings and construction plans
–          Supporting painting and decorating tasks where required
–          Working safely and efficiently on a variety of projects
–          Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisation
–          Occasionally working independently with confidence and initiative
 
The ideal candidate
 
The Ideal candidate will be someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. Will ideally have experience within construction, fitting, maintenance, or a similar hands-on trade environment.
 
Essential:
 
–          CSCS Card (minimum requirement)
–          Full UK driving licence
–          Confident using hand and power tools
–          Ability to read technical drawings
–          Strong awareness of health & safety
–          Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable but not essential:
 
–          SSCS Card
–          Experience in joinery, decorating, masonry, plastering, or general building works
–          Previous fitting or construction experience
