Semi Senior Accountant

A local accountancy firm is looking for a Semi Senior Accounts person

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accounts and management accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships up to draft stage
Assist on audit assignments
Prepare corporation tax computations and Self-Assessment Tax Returns
Mentor and support junior staff development
Work both in-office and onsite at client premises, with occasional travel
 
Ideal Candidate:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with 3+ years in practice
Proficient in accounting systems & Excel
Good understanding of accounting standards and taxation
Confident preparing year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, and P11Ds
Positive, proactive team player with excellent organisation skills
 
Working Hours 36.25h per week
Monday – Thursday: 8:45 – 17:15 & Friday: 8:45 – 16:00
 
 
Salary
£30,000
