Sales Representative

Fantastic opportunity to work for a local company with a niche market product, our Client based near Newark is a leader in their field supplying mechanical parts to the agricultural industry; they are looking to appoint a Sales Person to join their team due to upcoming retirement of the Sales Manager.

This role has a clear path for progression mapped out starting with internal sales, progressing to external sales after a year or so once you have learnt the business and the industry then after 2-3 years you will take on the Sales Manager role.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical mechanical mind or from an engineering background with a proven track record in sales, you might even come from a purchasing background. To succeed in this role you will needs to be self motivated have excellent time management and communications skills, be able to convert enquiries in to sales and most importantly have the ability to build solid business relations to secure future business.

To start with you will be based 100% in the office, once you start to learn the business and progress to more external sales you will then for 50% in the office and 50% travelling to meet with customers so you will need a full UK driving licence.

Monday to Friday 8-5.

In return they are offering an starting salary of £26-£30k.
Holidays 20 days plus bank holidays.
