Sales Representative

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Representative for a company who are one of the market leaders in manufacturing and supplying the meat production and processing industries and have ISO 9002 accreditation.

In the role of Sales Representative you will be working remotely/out on the road generating new and continued sales. The company have offices in Newark and in the West Midlands but the candidate can be located anywhere within England as you will only need to come into the offices on an adhoc basis. This role does include Nationwide travel so you should be happy with this element.

We are looking for someone who has worked within the food manufacturing industry and has good technical knowledge.

The Role
• Introducing and seeking new customers through outbound calls and visits
• Engaging with new customers and promoting our services
• Maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers
• Quoting prices to customers for new and existing business
• Self-management of expenses, mileage and budget
• Responsible for own administration
• Identifying and developing improvements to your customer area
• A strong and continuous focus on business development
• Forward planning for business need

The Candidate
• Proven track record of Sales or Account Management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Decision making and excellent negotiation skills
• Dynamic, enthusiastic & passionate to achieve
• Experience in food manufacturing is essential. Experience within meat production would be beneficial
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred
• Driving licence essential

• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Salary: From £35,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 39 hours per week. Scope for additional overtime
