With a fantastic reputation and continued year-on-year growth, they’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join their friendly, expanding team.

Benefits:
 
–          £30,000–£38,000 salary, depending on experience.
–          Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm – enjoy your evenings and weekends!
–          No weekend or bank holiday working.
–          28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays.

The role:
 
–          Diagnosing, investigating and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults.
–          Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
–          Working with engine, electrical and computerised vehicle systems.
–          Using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
–          Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently and with excellent attention to detail.
–          Working both independently and collaboratively to keep the workshop running smoothly.
–          Communicating effectively with colleagues and, where required, customers to explain technical issues clearly.
 
The ideal candidate
 
We are keen to hear from experienced, motivated mechanics who take pride in their work and share a passion for delivering excellent service.
 
You’ll need:
 
–          A recognised vehicle mechanic qualification.
–          A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
–          Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
–          A thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical and computerised vehicle systems.
–          Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity and time-management skills.
–          The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
–          Good communication skills and a professional approach.
–          A full, clean driving licence.
–          To be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
–          Your own standard tool kit, with specialist tools supplied by the garage.
 
F-Gas training would be an advantage, but it’s not essential.
