Production Operative – Weekend Day Shift
Our client is a global leader in their field and are continuing to grow. Through this growth they are creating a permanent weekend shift and are looking for production operatives for their 12hr weekend day shift Saturday & Sunday 10:00am to 10:00pm
The role is 24hrs a week at £16.24 an hour, this include a shift allowance.
The role is based near Stamford and is only accessible by car so your own transport is essential.
The role is temp to perm and the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring products are produced to the highest standards, meeting the required safety and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
• Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that this is adhered to at all times.
• Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard.
• General operative duties capable of movement between departments.
• Assembly work.
• Palletisation of large components.
• Accurate picking and packing of small parts to documented bills and instructions.
• Working to tight deadlines.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
• Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production.
• Support of all operations related activities as required particularly during periods of unplanned absence,holidays and high workloads.
Experience and Training:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a warehousing environment.
• Previous experience operating plastic forming machines is advantageous.

• Can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
