Order & Despatch Administrator

We have a great opportunity for someone to join a well established and busy company in an Administration role just outside of Newark.
This role was created to provide extra support due to ongoing growth and we are looking for someone with a great attitude and a desire to be part of a team. We are looking for someone who does have previous experience within an administration position and ideally someone who has been used to booking couriers, getting quotes from couriers for both UK & overseas.
This Administration role is going to be on a temporary to permanent basis.
Role is fully office based, Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30. They are based South of Newark so own transport will be necessary. We could potentially consider someone working 4 full days per work or school hours over 5 days.
Hourly rate is £12.80-£13ph  depending on experience.
In the position of Order & Despatch Administrator you will be responsible for the daily administration & processing of customer orders, and for the efficient booking in of orders to be delivered by courier.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
Customer Orders
• To print all orders received via email inboxes.
• To reply to all orders received in line with company requirements.
• To marry up orders with quotes
• To ensure orders are processed correctly, have the correct drawings and are passed to production for manufacture.
• To send production drawings to customers for approval where required.
Deliveries/Booking In
• To ensure we have accurate delivery addresses for all orders.
• To book in all orders accurately for dispatch both UK and international each day
• To get quotes from couriers for delivery of orders
• To ensure that orders are tracked to ensure delivery on time and prevent delays.
• To advise customers when their order is ready for dispatch.
Successful candidates will:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient with basic office software and email literate
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be comfortable dealing with changing demands, delivering on a variety of responsibilities, and have a flexible attitude.
