My client is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join their team in the centre of Lincoln. This is a hands-on role that requires a confident individual with strong office management and administrative experience and the ability to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office environment.
This is a full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday, offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The successful candidate will initially complete a 3-month temporary probationary period, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position upon successful completion.
Salary
£13.00 per hour during the probationary period
Remuneration will be agreed and increased upon successful completion of 3 month probation and transition to a permanent contract

Key Responsibilities
Creating, raising, managing, and chasing invoices accurately and efficiently (this is a core and essential part of the role)
Producing quotations and ensuring all documentation is completed with a high level of accuracy
Managing office operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Overseeing administrative processes and implementing improvements where needed
Maintaining organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
Managing emails, telephone enquiries, appointments, and general correspondence
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams in a professional manner
Monitoring office supplies and coordinating office requirements
Using initiative to solve problems, improve processes, and think outside the box
Supporting management with reporting, data entry, and office-related projects
Ensuring all records and financial documentation are maintained accurately

Requirements
Previous Office Manager experience is essential
Proven experience creating, raising, managing, and chasing invoices is essential
Experience of using SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous
Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident using computer systems and office software packages
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
A proactive approach with the ability to think outside the box and identify solutions
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Fast learner with excellent computer literacy and administrative capabilities
