Nursery Practitioner L3

We are recruiting a motivated, organised and approachable Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our client in the Lincoln on a Permanent basis.

Day-to-day, you will be:
– Following Safeguarding procedures to ensure children are safe and secure
– Following a programme of activities to ensure children are engaged, their needs are being met and their learning and development is being promoted
– Supporting your colleagues in ensuring smooth operations of the nursery
– Liaising with parents and carers
– Helping out with a wide range of nursery functions where needed – such as domestic jobs, cookery support and cleaning
– Working alongside the Management to ensure that the aims of the nursery are fulfilled
– Recording any accidents, following H&S procedures and other important company policies
– Carrying out all required childcare tasks to include hygiene and cleanliness, dealing with any illnesses, ensuring meal times run smoothly, and acting as a key worker to individuals
 
We are looking for candidates who have:
– A background/experience within the Childcare sector
– Level 3 qualification within Early Years, NVQ, BTEC or similar
– Familiarity with Ofsted and Safeguarding standards
– Excellent communication skills across all levels

Annual salary of £26,500.
