Our client has a successful family-run business producing bespoke and volume joinery services based just outside of Grantham.
They cover all areas of bespoke joinery from replacement windows, doors and conservatories, and pride themselves on outstanding quality. They are seeking an experienced and skilled workshop joiner/wood machinist to join their expanding business. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for purpose-made bespoke joinery, then we would love to hear from you.
This role is a temporary to permanent position with an hourly rate of £15 this can be increased and is very much dependent on experience. The hours of work are 7.30am -5pm Monday to Friday. Your own transport is essential due to location.
Skills & Qualifications: -
Experienced bench joiner/wood machinist to work in a workshop environment
A minimum 2 years proven experience in purpose-made joinery
Qualified Joiner/Carpenter
Roles and Responsibilities: -
Interpret and work from manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.
Execute all aspects of purpose-made joinery with high attention to detail whilst considering the most efficient method of construction.
Maintain excellent problem-solving and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Operate a variety of woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Uphold health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, ensuring both individual and team tasks are completed efficiently.
Maintain good housekeeping practices within the workshop.
Manufacture all joinery in accordance with internal quality standards.
