We are recruiting for an experienced HR Coordinator for a company based in Newark.
This role is Monday to Friday, full time office based – no hybrid.
Starting salary £26k-£31k, 25 days annual leave plus statutory.
You will be joining an established business within this fast paced industrial sector and be working alongside the HR Manager to look after the day to day.
This role will suit someone who has been working as a HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or even a junior HR Advisor that wants more direct hands on experience that has CIPD Level 3 and wanting to take that next step in their HR career and be able to develop over time to take on more responsibility.
The most suitable person for the HR Coordinator role will be someone that is confident, willing to learn and develop, self starter and the foundations of the different aspects of HR as this is a generalist position.
Day to Day responsibilities –
* Provide professional, proactive, and comprehensive HR support to the business, acting as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters.
* Employee relations, recruitment, compliance and policies.
* Be involved with all absence management, return to work interviews, disciplinaries processes that may arise.
* Training and coaching on best-practice HR approaches and legal compliance.
* Oversee and deliver onboarding and induction processes to ensure new starters are effectively integrated into the business.
* Support wellbeing initiatives.
* Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, ensuring HR queries are handled professionally, confidentially, and promptly.
* Maintain employee records.
Qualifications
CIPD Level 3 or above – Desirable
Relevant HR experience
Skills
Proven experience in a HR role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage confidently at all levels.
Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong working knowledge of UK Employment Law
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
