Floor Walker / Supervisor

We are recruiting for an experienced Floor Walker / Assembly Production Supervisor to join an established Newark company on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role will be working Monday to Friday on days predominantly 7-3 but you will need to be flexible as 6-2 or 8-4 could also be required depending on business needs.
This role would suit someone who has previously managed a small team in a busy environment, someone who has excellent attention to detail as you are responsible for keeping the flow of work and orders moving through the factory. You will need to be confident making decisions both from a person perspective but again also from a flow of orders perspective and spot potential bottlenecks or disruptions to the line. Keeping an constant eye on quality and the team following the assembly instructions to the letter per order. We need someone who also has good computer skills i.e Excel as you will be working hand in hand with the Production manager to monitor orders, working hours, forecasting etc.
The hourly rate is £13.80.
Candidate requirements:
Minimum 12 months of team leadership experience,
Strong interpersonal skills and a suitable personality to manage people effectively,
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel,
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities,
Preferably familiar with Assembly, PCB production processes and IPC standards (not required but advantageous).
