Engineering Labourer

We are pleased to be recruiting a Labourer to work with our client, an Engineering and Fabrication company in Lincoln.

This is a genuine Temporary to Permanent opportunity after 3 months.

Day to day, you’ll be paint spraying, carrying out basic steel cutting, helping with basic welding and fabrication on steel beams, organising the workshop area and dealing with incoming deliveries/paperwork.
You may also need to help with customer deliveries and therefore will need to be age 25+ due to the company’s insurance policy.

You’ll be right for the role if you’re not afraid of hard work, willing to learn and have a can-do attitude.

Some basic understanding of engineering would be helpful but if you’re reliable and have a positive attitude then they are happy to train you up.

Very friendly company to work for.

Accessible from central Lincoln via train or car.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (30 mins lunch).
Starting rate of pay is £12.50 per hour, which will be reviewed after 3 months.
There is a possibility for overtime as well – any hours worked over 40hrs per week paid at Time and a Third, any hours worked over 48hrs per week then paid at Time and a Half, so there are good opportunities to earn money for hard workers.
