Customer Account Manager

We are recruiting for a Permanent Customer Account Manager for a role based in Ollerton.

Responsibilities

• You will take responsibility for a number of customer accounts, for which you will provide first class customer service, always ensuring that their needs and expectations are met and excelled upon.
• You will have an overview of all accounts managed by the team.
• As an Account Manager, you will take the lead on current and upcoming projects, offering insight to the team and support where necessary.
• There will be times when you may be left in sole charge of the office so you must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to make decisions alone.
• The role mainly involves managing our subcontractor network, liaising with and providing reports to customers, and invoicing.
• The position will require you to undertake various other administration and account management duties.

Experience

• Some form of Sales/Account Experience would be an advantageous but not a necessity.
• Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
• Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
• Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
• Makes sure clients receive requested products, services and requests in a timely fashion
• Communicates client needs and demands to the Customer Services Manager
• Goes above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction
• Ensures service partners are the correct partners to deliver at a profitable cost to the company
• Prepares Monthly reviews with client
• Be pro active in developing relationship with client
• Understands Account structure within the account
• Takes the lead in client retention and development
• Ensures account is profitable
• Offers suggestions monthly to the Customer Services Manager
• Computer literate (Outlook & Word)
• Excellent Administration Skills
• Very Organised
• Good Customer Service skills
• Ability to build and maintain successful relationships
• Good communication and telephone manners

Working Monday to Friday, Office based

Salary £21-£24k depending on experience
