Our client, a leading company within the Engineering sector are seeking TWO skilled Assembly Operatives to join on a full-time permanent basis due to growth within the company. You'll be working a four day working week, Monday to Thursday, with over-time available at £13 per hour (£26,364 per annum)
This is a great opportunity for candidates who have a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience using both hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you'll play a pivotal role ensuring that all builds are accurately met to specification as well as quality and safety.
Your Responsibilities:
– Assemble components and products according to drawings, specifications and quality/safety standards.
– Complete assembly tasks by using a variety of hand and power tools.
– Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet and comply with required standards.
– Maintain a clean and safety working environment.
– Work collectively with team members to meet daily production targets.
– Identify and report any faults to a supervisor promptly to maintain efficient assembly of products.
– Comply with safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and tools.
What our client are looking for
– Current experience within Engineering or Manufacturing sector.
– Current and proven experience in assembly or mechanical fitting.
– You'll posses a strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
– Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools (safely and effectively).
– Superb attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Be self-motivated, reliable, forward thinking with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
– Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
