Our client is looking to recruit a temporary Accounts Assistant at their friendly, professional and independent business in Grantham for three months. To predominantly maintain accurate financial records, and help prepare accounts for all types of businesses. The post holder will be required to work flexibly, in a rapidly developing office environment and shall be managing, organising and updating relevant data using database applications.
The candidate will need to be confident in liaising with clients, visitors and staff and attend to enquiries made both in writing and verbally. Ensuring that the requests seeked are dealt with in a professional conduct to maintain working relationships but also to build new reports.
Other roles will include:-
• General book-keeping duties to include:
– processing sales & purchase invoices
– processing receipts and payments
– preparation of statements showing income and expenditure
– assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
– helping prepare Profit & Loss accounts & Self Assessment tax returns
•Depending on the business needs, other duties may be requested from you that will fall within your capabilities as directed by the management.
What you need to know:-
Hours:- Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Rate of Pay:- £8.91 per hour
Car Parking shall be paid for by the company.
