Yardperson / Maintenance Operative
Location: Lincoln
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start – temporary to permanent 
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yardperson / Maintenance Operative to join one of our well-established clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, keeping busy, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Keeping the yard and premises clean, tidy and safe
Litter picking, sweeping, weed removal and general yard maintenance
Disposing of pallets and other waste appropriately
Putting deliveries away into stores (fasteners, body fittings and other stock)
Assisting with general housekeeping around the site
Driving company vehicles between the main site and a nearby compound (approximately half a mile away)
Running occasional local errands in company 3.5-tonne vehicles
Supporting the existing Yardperson with daily tasks as required

What We’re Looking For
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements
Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for most of the day
Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
A positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential -full training can be provided for the right candidate

Hours
Monday to Friday
9:00am – 3:00pm
30-minute unpaid lunch break
27.5 paid hours per week
Some flexibility may be available

From £12.71 per hour
