Monday – Thursday        9am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch.)
Friday                               9am – 5:00pm (1/2 hour lunch.)
 
Starting Salary                 £27k – £30k

My exclusive client is searching for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a thriving independent practice.
 
Duties include (but are not limited to): -
 
–          Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
–          Prepare corporation tax returns
–          Preparation and submission of VAT returns
–          Liasing with clients to gather information and resolve queries
–          First response to phone calls from clients
–          Cover for payroll duties (using Moneysoft) and payroll queries
–          Perform bookkeeping using a range of accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, Kashflow, VT, Xero, Freeagent and CCH)
–          Assisting clients with bookkeeping and software support
–          General admin duties e.g. binding accounts
–          Knowledge or experience of “Making Tax Digital” a bonus
 
The Ideal candidate will have: -
 
–          Practice Experience is preferred.
–          Experience can be rated more highly than qualification.
–          AAT Level 3 or above.
