HR Officer – Learning & Development

We’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Officer – Learning & Development to join our dynamic HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how we develop our people while gaining broad, hands-on HR experience in a thriving and prestigious environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with senior leaders, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering impactful learning and development initiatives while supporting a wide range of HR activities.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same—perfect for someone who thrives on making a real difference.
Key responsibilities include:
– Partnering with Heads of Department to identify training needs and deliver effective development solutions
– Designing and maintaining Learning Needs Analyses, skills matrices, and development programmes
– Supporting leadership, compliance, and “step-up” training initiatives
– Measuring training effectiveness and providing insightful reports
– Enhancing onboarding and induction experiences
– Advising managers on performance, wellbeing, absence, and employee relations
– Supporting recruitment during peak periods
– Contributing to HR projects, policies, and continuous improvement
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
– Experienced in HR and/or Learning & Development (hospitality experience is a bonus, not essential)
– Organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
– Creative, tenacious, and detail-focused
– A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
– Tech-savvy, with strong IT skills and experience using HR systems (HRIS)
