Forklift/Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift / Warehouse Operative to join our Newark-based client. This is a varied role combining forklift operation (60%) with general warehouse duties (40%), ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
£13.50 per hour
This is a temporary position. Mon-Fri – 07:30-16:00
Immediate Start – Work expected to last until May as it stands – Possibility of permanent role for the correct candidate.
Essential: Own B1 Counterbalance Forklift Licence (up to 5 tonnes)
Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
Handling and moving a variety of loads, including abnormal loads with varying centres of gravity
Supporting warehouse operations including loading, unloading, picking, and general upkeep
Working collaboratively with the team and rotating between forklift and warehouse duties
Ensuring health & safety standards are followed at all times
Desirable
B2 Counterbalance Licence (over 5 tonnes)
Overhead Crane Licence
Candidates holding the above additional licences may be eligible for an increased pay rate of £14–£15 per hour.
