Construction FLT/Telehander Driver (Temp to Perm)

We are recruiting for an experienced Construction FLT Driver to join our clients team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
You will be working in the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire area.
Monday to Friday, 40hrs paid per week. £14.75ph. Once permanent there are a number of benefits to include higher level of holiday and discounts.
We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to work for a local employer and stay long term,  has construction experience and has the necessary skill set, attitude and work ethic to be a part of the team.
Day to day – 
Operate forklifts and telehandlers safely in accordance with site rules, training, and statutory requirements.
Load, unload, and transport materials across site, ensuring correct placement to support ongoing works.
Carry out daily pre-start checks and report any defects or maintenance needs immediately.
Handle materials carefully to avoid damage to goods, equipment, and site property.
Assist with general site logistics and organising material storage areas.
Support the coordination and safe movement of scheduled deliveries.
Maintain clear access routes and ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation at all times.
Work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors. Providing support with general tasks if there is no requirement for FLT tasks.
Follow all site health and safety procedures including PPE requirements and traffic management rules.
Report near misses, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly to the Site Manager.
Ensure all operations comply with legislation including LOLER and PUWER regulations.
Ensure plant and equipment remain clean, tidy, and secure when not in use.
Complete equipment inspection records and required site documentation.
Communicate clearly with banksmen, supervisors, and site teams to ensure safe operational coordination.
Participate in site briefings, toolbox talks, and mandatory training sessions.
Qualifications -
Valid CPCS or NPORS Forklift / Telehandler qualification.
