Production Supervisor

We are recruiting for an experienced Assembly Production Supervisor to join an established Newark company on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role will be working Monday to Friday on days predominantly 7-3 but you will need to be flexible as 6-2 or 8-4 could also be required depending on business needs.
The hourly rate is £13.80.
Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor for:
Maintaining the team’s overall efficiency and performance,
Working closely with PCB Manager to determine weekly schedules,
Ensuring correct stock levels are maintained,
Overseeing the quality of products being passed to the Quality Team for final inspection,
Working closely with the Production Engineering Team to resolve any production-related issues,
Handling day-to-day HR-related matters effectively.
Candidate requirements:
Minimum 12 months of team leadership experience,
Strong interpersonal skills and a suitable personality to manage people effectively,
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel,
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities,
Preferably familiar with Assembly, PCB production processes and IPC standards (not required but advantageous).
