Senior Finance Accountant

We have the pleasure of recruiting for a brand new position down to growth for our very well established client who are based in Bingham. 
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Finance Accountant to join our clients dynamic finance team. This is a fast-paced role with high KPIs and expectations for accuracy, efficiency, and initiative from day one.
This is a full time office based position with a salary of £38k-£42k DOE
Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, delivering high-quality reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. You must have proven experience using QuickBooks and be confident in taking ownership of financial processes without the need for extensive training.
 
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the business
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
Complete bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Ensure all financial records meet legal and regulatory requirements
 
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Senior Finance / Accountant role
Advanced QuickBooks knowledge is essential
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and statutory compliance
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
