Experienced Forklift Driver

Are you an experienced forklift driver, either reach/counterbalance/bendi/live loads?

Are you passionate about providing the best services within the warehouse environment, keeping to strict time scales and a deadline?

My client is looking for hard-working individuals that have a forklift license with experience, you must be able to work within a team. The perfect candidate will have good time management skills, able to use their own initiative and willing to work hard to get the job done.

This position is offered on a temporary basis with a permanent position available for the right candidate after 12 weeks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please note due to the peak period at our client’s company, no holidays will be permitted during the contract duration. If you have pre-booked holidays, please do not apply as you will not be considered for this position however you will earn holiday pay during your contract which can be requested at any time.

Start date: 1st week of August
Pay: £14/ph – with overtime paid after 40 hours which is paid at time and half. PAID BREAKS
Working hours: Monday to Saturday doing days. Shifts can be up to 12 hours, and you will be required to work 6 days a week during busy period with an early finish on Saturday.
Flexibility with these positions and your working hours is expected.

Due to the location of the company own transport would be preferable.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
-A valid forklift driving licence
-Minimum 2 years of proven forklift driving experience in a fast-paced warehouse or industrial environment
-Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
-Ability to work well under pressure and remain focused during busy and stressful periods
-Strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety guidelines
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
