Receptionist

Have you worked within the Educational sector? Our client are seeking an Receptionist to assist them on a Maternity Cover Contract starting early July potentially up to 12 months.

The successful candidate must have a valid Enhanced DBS along with being subscribed to the update service. Should you not be signed to the service, this could delay your start if not.

This position is offered on a full-time basis Monday – Friday with a total of 37 hours per week and an hourly rate of £12.26.

You must be experienced within providing a high level of administrative support, as the environment can present demands within the fast paced environment. You'll need to have superb customer facing and time-management skills, as well as the ability to handle interruptions albeit in person, via email or telephone.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an environment where you are valued and supported by a friendly and happy team. Occasionally, you may need to provide cover at their Ruskington site, so you must have a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Your duties shall include, but not limited to:-
– Reception duties including welcoming of students, parents, guests, visitors and deliveries. Adhering to Health and Safety and safeguarding procedures/policies.
– Provide administrative support; filling, archiving and storing, reprographics, photocopying requests, data entry, recording absences
– Stock Control – stationary checks & organising orders including reprographics supply materials.
– Coordinate events and trips.
– Participate in appropriate meetings when required.
– Provide flexibility to cover the school's needs throughout the day, including colleagues absences.
– Carry a professional etiquette at all times including confidentiality.
– Working with multiple IT systems and softwares including Microsoft package and SIMS information system.
– Administer First Aid when required from time to time.

The successful candidate must:-
– Be able to provide flexible working to adhere to completion of tasks within the desired time-scale.
– Have strong IT knowledge including Word and Powerpoint and preferences of having worked with SIMS interview and Application forms historically or current.
– Possess a confident and excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
– Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislations.
– Knowledge and understanding the importance of safeguarding.
– Have the ability to work calmly under pressure, as well as ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
– Ability to make sound judgement when prioritising tasks and referrals.

Qualifications required:-
– Educated to GCSE (grade 4 or above) level or equivalent in Maths and English
– NVQ2 Level in Business Administration or equivalent qualification in related area or equivalent experience.

The right candidate must have a full DBS and a Driving Licence.
