Yard Assistant (Vehicle Movement)

We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our well-established client in Lincoln. This role primarily focuses on maintaining a tidy and well-organised yard, along with vehicle movement duties. This is a genuine temp to perm contract, so we are looking for someone dedicated and committed.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, 7:30am to 4:30pm, Hourly Rate £11.50 per hour.
You must have a full, clean UK driving license and be over the age of 25 to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform general yard duties, including cleaning, organising and maintaining the yard
– Keep the yard clean, tidy and well-maintained, including regular weeding and the upkeep of the front of house
– Safely control, park and position vehicles within the business premises
– Ensure all vehicles are damage-free, secured and organised
– Maintain a detailed record of vehicle locations for easy access and retrieval.

Requirements:
– Must be over the age of 25
– Clean Valid UK manual driving license with experience driving 3.5-tonne vehicles
– Physically fit to handle the demands of this role, including working outdoors in all weather conditions
– Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
– Strong organisational skills
– Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team
– Must remain professional at all times when interacting with staff and customers
