My Client is looking for somebody with a wealth of experience within Warehouse and Operations. They are a supplier of floor preparation and are looking for a full time permanent member of the team to join their successful business. The position offers the applicant an opportunity to work in an established business with a reputation for high levels of customer service.
This opportunity will include a variety of tasks including –
Goods in – booking in / re stocking shelves
Preparing parcels and pallet orders for despatch
Liaising with couriers
Monitoring stock levels and liaising with our purchasing manager
Serving walk in customers
Fork lift operation
Occasional assistance with equipment repair in workshop
Occasional delivery and collection of equipment / goods in company van.
Minimum requirements – PC competent with Microsoft Office and Sage , trained and experience of operating a forklift. Good communication skills and the ability to work in an efficient team.
Preferred requirements – A background and interest in mechanical equipment / spares ideally in the surface preparation industry. An understanding on the different types of equipment supplied and the operation would be a major advantage. Training will be provided as required.
Monday – Friday 8.30 to 5pm – 30 mins lunch plus breaks
20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
Company Pension Scheme.
Salary – to be discussed depending on experience.
