Trainee Sales & Admin Assistant
Our client, a small local business in the heart of Lincoln is offering a great opportunity for a new and ambitious individual to join them. This is a role where you will be able to grow and develop your Sales skills.
Admin work to include:
Preparing quotations to be presented to a customer
General day to day paperwork, handling delivery notes etc
Ordering and chasing orders
Dealing with the after sales process (customer follow-ups, take feedback, use the opportunity to up-sell)
Being trained so that eventually you can talk to customers independently about the products and services offered. Advise a customer on their needs all the way through to it being installed and ensuring that the customer has confidence to buy from you. Offering opinions on product and colour choices and often being with a customer for a couple of hours and being able to build a rapport.
Art and design skills would be advantageous, although not essential, but a creative side and a passion to learn the industry is essential.
Other roles will include:
Day to day running of a busy showroom ensuring the showroom is clean and tidy at all times, helping to unload deliveries and scheduling diaries
Ensuring installations run smoothly and dealing with enquiries
Must have a good telephone manner to be able to answer enquiries from customers and ask questions to suppliers. Must be articulate and extremely well presented ready to deal face to face with the general public in an upmarket showroom environment.
Wage will be dependent upon experience and how quickly you can progress from trainee to a valued member of the very small team.
