Team Leader

This family run business on the outskirts of Grantham, Lincolnshire are seeking two Team Leaders to join their fun, professional and outgoing team on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis. What is critical is you! Your personality and passion as my client are prepared to invest full training for you to succeed and be another high-retaining member of staff.

In return the company are proud to be offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.10 Monday to Friday, and £14.10 Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Along with free on-site parking, canteen, PPE provided, training courses within the food sector and machinery.

This company are growing, so it's a very exciting time to be coming on board and being a part of the team. To ensure you have a full understanding of being an outstanding Team Leader you will work your first month on the line itself, to fully engage and encompass the roles entailed and required by the company to result completion of the clients orders. This will significantly aid your leadership going forward, by forecasting, dealing with paperwork, problem solving, making decisions without higher management confirmation and of course ensuring your team are fully understanding their objective for the shift.

Whilst this position is within the food sector, the successful candidate does not need to have a former background within this industry necessarily. What is essential is the desire and passion to organise a team, have superb time-management, be confident to speak with clients to advise/confirm orders. Be thorough and organised with paperwork related to clients orders. The role is diverse, including cleaning down of the equipment at the end of production. This is the perfect opportunity to have the support, guidance and expertise on hand to mentor you within your career.

The hours of work for this role are Monday – Friday 06:00 – 16:00 and an alternate Saturday 06:00 – 14:00. Due to the location of the site, your own transport is absolutely essential. If you hold any food safety qualifications please do submit these within your application.

In addition, as part of the application process assessments may be offered to obtain your level of understanding within Excel. This role is immediately available however for the right candidate our client is absolutely prepared to wait. Whilst this is a temporary to permanent position, the right candidate is desired from the get go due to the volume of investment and training from our client.
