We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our Mansfield based client.
We are looking for passionate individuals who understand that all children develop and learn differently and have a willingness to adapt and go above and beyond to ensure that the children are getting the best out of themselves, and the service provided.
Salary: £15,476 (Unqualified) – £15,900 per annum (Qualified)
Hours: Maximum of 30 hours per week Minimum of 18 hours per week
The role includes: (but is not limited to)
To support Curriculum Leads and Lead Teachers with the planning, preparation and assessment of an innovative and flexible curriculum.
To assist with the teaching with 1:1’s and small group sessions as required
To assist with a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision which includes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.
Act in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
Supporting the Company to create and maintain high quality environments which are compliant with Health & Safety.
The right candidate will have:
Two years’ experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an education, health or social care setting
To hold Level 3 qualification in an education, health or social care setting (e.g. relevant NVQ, PTLLs, A levels) (this is desirable but not essential.)
To be able to produce evidence of previous CPD (e.g. first aid, safeguarding training, diversity training, CAF/EHC training, IOSHH)
To hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. Level 2 award/certificate in support work in schools/teaching and learning in schools (this is desirable but not essential.)
Must hold a UK Driving License and have access to a road worthy vehicle.
The position is based at the Mansfield site; however, due to the nature of the position you would be expected to travel to various sites and locations related to educational needs.
