We are looking for a Sales/Operations Assistant to assist the Sales/Operations Manager and help with the general facilities throughout the business, this is an exciting temporary position covering maternity leave.

Any successful candidate must possess exceptional customer service skills and have an aptitude for multi-tasking.

This position is on a part time, temporary (9-12 months) basis and the hours will be up to 22.5 hours per week with flexibility. You will also be required to work every other Saturday and you will get this back in lieu. You must be willing to cover the Manager when necessary.

You will work closely with the Sales and Operations Manager to grow the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:
– Delivering exceptional customer service to all clients
– Signing up new customers
– Selling products to customers in store
– Handling customer enquiries to include face to face, on the telephone and via email
– Consulting with customers self-storage needs, availability and pricing
– Entering customer information accurately on the database
– Dealing with debt management of customer accounts
– Handling documents shredding enquiries including face to face, by telephone and via email
– Working as a team to achieve store targets
– Identifying any business opportunities to increase store exposure and increase in revenue
– Potential cover for the out of hours emergency phone when the store manager is on annual leave
– The need to service out of hours clients on a "call out" basis regarding renting units outside normal office hours
– General housekeeping and maintenance of the store

Desired Requirements:

– Experience in sales and operation environment is a must
– An outgoing and friendly personality

The hourly rate of pay will be discussed at interview stage with 28 days Holiday including Bank Holidays pro rata.
