An amazing role has become available for a Repair/Vehicle Damage Manager on the outskirts of lincoln.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
• Assessments on the roadworthiness of client’s vehicle informed by available evidence.
• Allocation of repairers – determining that the allocated repairer is suitable for the claimant’s
vehicle and informing them of the chosen ‘route’ for the repairs and explaining this process.
In the circumstance in which a repairer is not previously signed up for credit-repair, this
involves agreeing credit-repair terms with the repairers.
• Liasing with engineers – this can range from chasing completed reports to general queries in
the contents of the reports. This can range from queries to the repairs included within the
reports to confirming the valuation of a vehicle.
• Provide administrative oversight for the credit-repair process including allocation of
repairers, authorisation of repairs, monitoring of the repair process and processing of creditrepair invoices.
• Repair Complaints – liaising with clients to ascertain the exact nature of the complaint/ issue
and liaising with involved parties for this complaint to be resolved. An analytic assessment of
the complaint is also required to ensue that the complaint is justified and that the origin of
the reported issues/ the rectifying process is within the scope of the overall service
provision.
• Total-loss valuation disputes – providing support and insight into total-loss disputes
generally. This can relate to valuation, categories of loss and approximate salvage values.
• Provide administrative oversight for the salvage process including the management of
salvage payment and auction results.
• Maintain, build and manage our repair network and work closely with the other networks
we use to place repairs.
