Reach and Counter Balance Forklift Operative

We are recruiting a Reach and Counterbalance forklift Operative for a client in the Grantham area on an immediate start basis.

This is a company that works with some of the largest brands in the industry. They have a small and very friendly team so you will need to be able to work with others in small teams.

You will be working in a Stores environment, using paper based order pick lists to compile customer orders, travel around the Warehouse with a pallet truck or forklift, selecting the correct items and preparing for dispatch. You will be using the Reach Forklift Truck to get items from higher locations in the Warehouse. Because it is a small team, it is important that you are happy to assist with general Warehouse duties (keeping the Warehouse tidy, aiding with picking orders, emptying containers, palletising, general cleaning/clearing etc) as well as the forklift work as the whole team work together.

In return my client are offering £11.97 an hour on a temporary basis. This is a superb opportunity to be working for a reputable and professional company who offer a relaxed working environment. Full resting facilities on-site and free parking.

Working hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (42.5 hours). 30 minute unpaid break, along with 2 x 15 minute paid breaks.

Own transport is absolutely essential due to the location, as well as both Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences. A Reach Forklift Licence is essential, with a preference of it being in date, or within the last 4.5 years. Please do not apply if you solely have the Counterbalance Licence. Please provide proof of your FLT Licence within your application.
