We are recruiting for a company based in Newark for an experienced Administrator to join their busy purchasing team.
Working Monday to Friday 37hr paid week, 8.30am-4.30pm but there can be some flexibility in working hours. Office based.
We are looking for someone who has sound administration skills and who is potentially looking to develop. You will need to have experience ideally of managing shared inboxes, using Outlook, experience of Excel – specifically filter and functions, anything further like V Lookup and pivot tables is a benefit. You will be comfortable in a sometimes busy and loud environment. Being able to multi task is also key as the role can be very reactive.
The company have designed a step by step training plan which allows you to progress both in terms of the role but also in terms of salary and potential further development in the way of training courses or even further qualifications if needed.
Your main responsibilities once trained will involve:
– raise and ensure all purchase orders are acknowledged in accordance with the purchasing process
– use initiative and judgement to resolve any issues regarding component availability and recommend counter measures when required
– Proactively chase overdue orders
– look for cost down opportunities and use gained knowledge to work with strategic sourcing on finding new suppliers
Salary £22800-£25k, salary will progress with performance
