Production Line Checker

We have the pleasure in confirming 3 roles for NSK to work within their Auditing team within the Factory. These roles will be checking the quality and specifications of the bearings.

The responsibility of these positions is to – To complete line audits of components in G2 grinding against defined schedules. This will ensure confirmation of specifications are met, & any issues are highlighted immediately and can be actioned accordingly.

These positions are working Monday to Friday on a 3 shift rotation, earlies, nights and afternoons.

Principal Accountabilities
*Auditing batch and machine paperwork
*Confirm all gauges are operational, set correctly & within calibration period
*Ensure support rollers are in good condition.
*Quality assessment using gauging and surface measure equipment
*Ensure back sorting / containment is completed if any failures are detected.
*Maintain a tidy, clean and safe working environment

Skills & Knowledge
*Problem solving skills
*Good manual dexterity
*Ability to apply attention to detail
*Effective communications skills – both oral and written
*The ability to work with engineering hand tools is desirable

Starting Salary is £21717.15 plus 20% shift = £26060.58
