Mechanical/Workshop Support

We are recruiting for a client in Newark for a mechanically minded person who can help out in the workshop.

The role is permanent, Mon to Fri 40hrs per week.

Salary will be dependent on previous skill set, £25k upwards.

Driving licence will be a requirement as from time to time you could be needed to go and fetch parts.

You could be someone who has come from a car mechanic background, mechanical fitter background or similar and is looking for a varied workshop based role that would include –
* Working alongside main engineer
* Mechanical breakdowns
* Moving, lifting and carrying heavy equipment, boat consumables and other objects
* Keeping yard area tidy
* Anti fowling
* Cleaning/Valeting/Sanding/Preparation
* Assisting customers

There is the chance for training and further development for someone with a genuine interest in learning the mechanical side if the basic skills are in place.
