Head of Quality of Education

We have a great opportunity for you to join a Senior Leadership Team who are committed to providing a safe and innovative place for young people to learn and thrive in the Nottinghamshire area.

As the Head of Quality of Education for KS2 & KS3 you will be responsible for determining the strategic direction and business development of the quality of education which is offered through the various sites for key stage 2 and 3. Working alongside the School heads you will ensure the high-level delivery of the curriculums to all learners across the area.

Salary: £44,000 – £48,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Weeks: 39 weeks (Term-time only)

The role includes: (but is not limited to)

 Taking a strategic lead, alongside the Head of Schools, Governors and Directors, to ensure the quality of education is effective across the schools.
 Challenge educational orthodoxies and strive to innovate in the best interests of achieving excellence for all learners.
 Demonstrate a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people.
 Ensuring that all learners access high quality teaching and learning through an appropriate bespoke offer.
 Leading and managing staff and fostering effective relationships between all members of the school community and commissioners.
 Ensuring the efficient and effective management and utilisation of resources.

The right candidate will have:

 Qualified Teacher Status
 Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline for teaching and/or education.
 To be able to produce evidence of previous CPD (e.g. first aid, safeguarding training, diversity training, CAF/EHC training, IOSHH) Significant experience of school leadership (at least 3 years) with a sustained record of school improvement.
 Some experience of ensuring inclusion, diversity and access for all within an education setting.
 Must hold a UK Driving License and have access to a road worthy vehicle.

Please Note: This position requires the successful candidate to travel across various sites within Nottinghamshire but does include Worksop, Loughborough, Heanor.
