We are recruiting for a new Head Chef to join our client in the Lincoln area. If you are currently a Head Chef looking for a new dynamic or are a Sous Chef / CDP looking to take a step up then this company is worth considering.
The company in question are by no means a fine dining establishment but one that would rather offer accessible, relevant cuisines to a wide audience. The company are very happy to give full menu control to the Head Chef which will allow you to put your own stamp on this role. So if you're willing to keep up with ever-changing customer tastes and trends, keeping the menu up to date, then you'll have the support of the Management team.
You'll be responsible for:
– Running an afternoon and evening kitchen for a varied number of covers
– Ensuring food is sent from the kitchen at a consistent standard
– Menu planning including costings, gross profit margins
– Supervision of a team of Line Chefs, Trainee/Junior Chefs and KPs
– Stock control
– Compliance – food hygiene, health and safety
– Staff training & development
The company can offer an excellent salary range between £28k – £35k P/A depending on your experience level, but this will be discussed at interview stage.
If you're not working currently and are wanting to get started as soon as possible, the company can offer a temporary, weekly paid contract to become permanent. However if you are currently in work and looking for a change then they can consider a permanent contract from day one.
Initially the role will be part time to then become full time in the summer months.
