Flooring Salesperson/ Surveyor

Full-time, flexible hours (between 8am – 5pm, rotating Saturdays 9am – 1pm)
My client is looking for an enthusiastic flooring sales person/ estimator to join their friendly team! You will be joining a company with over 30 years of experience in the flooring trade, providing expert advice and quality fitting. Experience in the industry is not essential, but a strong willingness to develop
The Role
• Shop floor sales – Assisting customers, providing advice and recommendations, selling products
• Providing excellent customer service
• Surveying and measuring for customers on site
• Assisting in the warehouse and unloading/ loading of products when needed
• Providing quotes to customers
The Candidate
• Full UK manual Driver’s licence
• Experience with customer negotiations is desirable but not essential. The personality and confidence to be able to sell and work face to face with customers and is essential
• GCSE in maths grade C or above or strong Mathematical skills (for quotes and measuring)
• Strong computer skills, emailing, competent in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, enthusiastic, team worker
