Electric Vehicle Cell Leader

Our client is looking for a Team Leader to join their busy Electric Vehicle (EV) department based Grantham.

You will be a key member of the EV team, the role will consist of overseeing personnel in the workshop, ensuring production targets are being hit every week and producing KPI’s for senior management to review.

This role is predominantly based on day shift, but on occasion you may be asked to work on the late shift to support the late shift operators so flexibility is an advantage.

The successful individual will have prior management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. They will also be required to achieve a company funded, external HV EV level 4 certification.

The Starting Salary is £30,000 and will raise to £32,000.00 on successful completion of the HV EV Level 4.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

– Ensure Production Plan Targets are being hit each month
– Manage EV Production Personnel
– Manage Stock Levels of both components and batteries on site
– Manage Faulty Modules on site
– Make, feedback KPI’s for EV production

Skills and Experience

– Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
– Fluent in English language
– IT literate in Office and Windows based applications
– Open to embracing new ways of working and comfortable with change.
– Ability to manage own workload to meet specific deadlines.
– Positive attitude towards all work, colleagues and customers

Experience

– Have prior experience of managing personnel
– Experience working in the manufacturing industry
– Full, clean driving license
– Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written.
– Excellent team working skills but also the ability to use own initiative.
