Dairy Operatives

We are recruiting Dairy Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis for our client in Colston Bassett, which is between Nottingham and Melton Mowbray.

We have opportunities for full time and part time depending on your availability. Full time hours are shown below and part time hours are to be discussed.

They have been an award winning manufacturer for a number of years and due to growth are now adding to the team. They have been established for over 100 years.

Duties include:
– Operating machines
– Hand finishing the products
– Stirring, mixing
– Cleaning of the machines and the work space
– Working within company health, safety and hygiene guidelines
– Various other duties as instructed by management

You will need to have your own transport due to the location of work (free on-site parking) and for the reliability the company is expecting. It is a physically demanding role so you will need to be prepared to handle the workload and heavy duties.

Hours of work will be 5:30/6:30am-1:00pm on weekends and 5:30/6:30am-3:00pm on weekdays, on the following pattern:

Week 1:
Sunday to Saturday, with Thursday and Friday off

Week 2:
Sunday to Friday, with Saturday off

This may vary according to business requirements and the company operates a different shift pattern over winter and spring.

Rate of pay for weekday shifts is £10.50 per hour and for weekends is an excellent £17.50 per hour. You will be provided with workwear.
