Commercial Sales

Reflect Recruitment are pleased to working with an incredibly reputable company in Grantham, Lincolnshire and assisting them with adding an experienced Commercial Sales candidate to join their busy and buoyant team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

– Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
– Responsible for the generation of new customer business, volume, and gross margin. Research and identify new business opportunities with a key focus on maximizing profitability within your portfolio.
– Maintaining and increasing sales of all fuel products, lubricants, and additives
– Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Team to identify campaigns and target lead profiles for new and existing customers
– Engage with potential customers by phone/email/social media to grow our prospect base
– Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with our KPI’s
– Maintaining competitor awareness
– To work closely with the Business Development Manager and Sales Team to ensure leads are generated within various business sectors.
– To deal with customers in a professional manner at all times aligned to our brand values.
– To ensure service is prompt, polite and professional standards are kept
– Ensure attention to detail given to obtaining and checking correct delivery and scheduling information.
– Liaising with the Transport team to ensure that high levels of delivery service are always achieved
– When presented with a new customer, you will champion the company, making the right first impression at all times. Through your interaction, your customer will be aware of our product offerings and the overall benefits of choosing this company over competitors
– Through your customer interactions, you will recommend potential products, services, and process improvements to company management, to enhance our customer offering, improve our service, and to support future interactions.

The ideal and successful candidate must have the following requirements:

– Sales and new business development experience ideally gained selling into a commercial, agricultural, and industrial customer base.
– Experience of working in the fuel distribution sector an advantage
– Excellent track record of targeted, relationship-based selling
– Proven track record of achieving (and often exceeding) targets
– Ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues
– Able to show initiative and make decisions
– Ability to sell to customer needs
– Meeting sales goals and target driven
– Maintain a professional attitude, demonstrating empathy, compassion and commitment when dealing with customers
– Exceptional negotiation skills
– Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally
– Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

In return, our client is offering a really competitive package with:-
– A basic remuneration of £20,000 – £22,000 plus commission structure
– Life insurance which equates to three times your salary
– Holiday entitlement of 31 days per annum (including bank holidays)
– Employee owned company
– Pension contribution of 5% (matching that of your contribution)
– Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 with a Saturday morning (rota basis) during the winter season when business is at its peak
– An immediate start very much available.
