Civil Design Engineer

Due to recent successes and increased workload in the business my Client is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join their successful and growing business. This position is full time and is a great opportunity in the Lincolnshire area.

Outline Requirements:
• HND, degree or masters in Civil Engineering / related field or commensurate experience.
• 3-5 years experience in civil engineering, specifically in infrastructure projects.
• Working towards professional membership of relevant engineering institution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Info Drainage, Site 3D, and Windes MicroDrainage.
• Strong understanding of surface and foul water drainage design, road design, earth modelling, and cut and fill calculations.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with UK engineering standards and guidelines.
• Good understanding of CDM requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and design surface and foul water drainage systems.
• Perform road design calculations and layout planning.
• Conduct earth modelling and cut and fill calculations for various projects.
• Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Info Drainage, Site 3D, and Windes MicroDrainage for design and analysis.
• Work collaboratively with other team members, including attending team meetings and contributing to project planning.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local and national engineering standards.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay current with industry standards and software updates.

Other requirements:
• Permanent
• Indicative salary: £30-40k depending on experience
• 40 hrs/week.
• 26 days annual leave + bank holidays + benefits
