Business Development Manager (with travel)

We have a exciting new role in for a experienced and sales hungry Business Development Manager who can help to further expand market share and business for this Nottinghamshire based company.

This role is home based so location in England could realistically be anywhere but would include alot of foreign travel to Europe, America and some times Asia area. You will be working with the Sales Director and Technical Support Engineer on both developing new business and maintaining current business.

We are looking for someone who has experience working within the ink or printing industry but would be open to speaking to people who have worked in textiles or clothing production industries.

The package for the role completely depends on the experience the person brings to the table but would include company car, 23 days holiday plus banks (3 saved for Christmas), Private Healthcare, life assurance.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Sales Director andTechnical team to design and implement a sales strategy to secure new business leads, leading to expansion of the company’s customer base and growth of sales revenue.
• Develop a solid and fully qualified sales pipeline with clear stage gate measurables to deliver new sales. Report progress to the Sales Director
• Undertake sales visits both in the UK and overseas in consultation with the Sales Director.
• Interact with prospects at all levels of seniority, presenting the company and company information in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company at all external events, enforcing and driving the company’s presence in the market.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with prospective customers in the UK and overseas up-holding company reputation for service and quality.
• Contribute to the generation of ideas for new marketing materials, marketing, and advertising plans
• Contribute to strategic development plans to the Board to shape the future business.
• Analyse and evaluate key performance indicators within the business to assist with future business planning and strategy.
