Billing/Finance Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Billing Assistant to join our Mansfield client.

Due to general business expansion, this role has been created and will suit a motivated and capable individual who is highly organised and eager to learn.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £24k – £26k (dependant on experience)

What you will be doing (but not limited to):
 Accurately recording and allocating costs to projects and client accounts.
 Ensuring clients are accurately and billed within a timely manner.
 Monitor project fees against client purchase order values and escalate issues as needed.
 Producing and communicating with clients any data or evidence to support invoices.
 Facilitate supplier works order processes and manage supplier relationships effectively.
 Ad hoc duties within the Finance and Commercial team.
 Follow company policies and procedures and contribute to the development of skills within the team.
 Engage with clients and suppliers professionally, fostering strong relationships and promoting best practices.
 Collaborate with operational teams to manage client relationships effectively.

The ideal candidate will be warm and engaging with Excellent attention to detail, as accuracy is vital in this position. You will also be able to work under pressure and on your own initiative, largely unsupervised.
