Assistant Accountant, Scunthorpe

My client is an established motor trade dealership based in Scunthorpe, I am looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team, this role has become available due to promotion, you will be joining a vibrant team with years of motor trade experience between them, where winning awards for superb employee experience shows that this has to be your next move within the accounts industry

Ideally you will have working knowledge of Kerridge and be in a more senior role within your current position

You will be

Your role will include:
•Maintenance of cashbooks, sales & purchase ledgers
•Bank reconciliations
•Reconciliation of a range of accounts/ ledgers
•Assistance with credit control
•Operation of the weekly and monthly payroll
•Maintenance of our HR records
•Assisting with completion of the management accounts
•Producing various reports for the Directors as required
•Admin duties as required

Preferably having motor trade experience, you must:
•have accounts experience
•be IT literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel
•be used to working in a fast-paced environment
•have strong communication skills
•Personal qualities include being:
•confident and self-motivated
•hardworking and organised
•quick learner
•a team player
